National Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, NY

With the van healthy again we headed back up to Cooperstown and parked about a half-mile away from downtown since there isn’t any large eco-friendly parking in or near town.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame has been someplace Alan has wanted to do for a very long time so today was his day. We walked to town (the Hall of Fame is in the middle) and spent the next three hours exploring the Hall.

We watched a wonderful, short, film on the generations of famous players, learned a lot more about the history of the game and its players, then bought a sticker and some pins at the souvenir store. For lunch we had, what else, hotdogs!

Our last stop of the day was the Saratoga National Historical Park where we learned a lot about Benedict Arnold.
