We visited Anahuac NWR and saw lots of wildlife. Plenty of alligators, White Ibis, Glossy Ibis, Great Herons, Little Blue Heron, Killdeer, Common Gallinule with chicks, Purple Gallinule, Black Neck Stilts with chicks, King Rail, Orchard Oriole, Catbirds, grackles, Black Bellied Whistling duck, Fulvous Whistling duck, Mottled duck, Eastern Kingbird, Martin’s, Tennessee Warbler, Roseatte Spoonbill, Yellow Crowned Night Heron, a variety of sandpiper yet to be ID’d, turtles and a bullfrog. Next we went to Texas Point NWR and saw Loggerhead Shrike, House Finch, Magnolia Warbler, Yellow-Green Vireo, and an Eastern Wood Pewee.

We also stopped by McFadden NWR and saw a Killdeer and two of her chicks.
