Salt Lake City

First thing today we did laundry. When we finished we left the parking lot but the back of the RV smacked the lot as we exited. It sounded like a scrape, so we figured we’d look at it later. We got gas and clothes at Sam’s Club, then stopped for lunch. It was then that I saw what had happened to the RV. The sewage hose storage tube had been broken and we had lost the end AND the sewage hose. Crap (no pun intended). So we drove to a Camping World store and asked for help in getting the remains of the tube off. They were very kind and did that for us at no charge. We bought a new hose and left to run more errands.

On Thursday we went to Antelope Island State Park and saw American Avocet, gulls, coots, and a few bison. The weather wasn’t nice, so no good pictures this time around. Drat

Friday we went to the Red Iguana for delicious lunch (a TripleD place). Afterward we went to the Clark Planetarium. It was mostly for kids and very interactive, but we still enjoyed it. From there we hit up an RV supply store for some parts we need, then on to dinner at Proper Burger, another TripleD place. Their burgers were outstanding!
