We tried to wash and vac the RV, got laundry done, and planned another week of this trip. On the way back to the campground we ran into a nasty hailstorm.

We met and had a long chat with a nice couple who are like us, accidental birders. We also met a volunteer couple too and talked camera gear with them.

For lunch we finally took a chance and went to The Owl Cafe & Bar, home of the world famous Chili Cheese Burger. They’ve been in business for 74 years. The burgers were great! A bit spicy for Alan, but he liked them anyway.

Once a year the staff pulls all the one-dollar bills from the wall
and donates them to a local charity.

Next some shopping at Walmart for necessities, then the town library to work on the last two day’s photos. Then we drove back to Bosque for one more tour.
